Making a Difference

We created MathAtlanta in 2019 in response to a lack of opportunities for underprivileged children who want to learn the practical applications of math. Some avenues, such as tutoring centers, are available for students, but very few are financially accessible to children from underprivileged families. MathAtlanta is a cost-free alternative for these children.

We focus on providing opportunities for math outreach in the metro-Atlanta area through seminars, workshops, volunteering events, and teaching so as to nurture a greater understanding of math and the ability to apply concepts to solve problems. As such, we aim to provide similar services to these children free of charge.
